Find out what we believe.

God

God is three persons in one: the Father, who created and sustains the world; the Son, who lived as a human being, died, and rose from the dead; and the Holy Spirit who works through people in the world.

The Bible

The Bible reveals God to the world and is the only basis for faith. (2 Timothy 3:16-17). The Bible is the word of God without errors in its message and truth, spoken through human writers. It is the sole authority, guide and standard for all that we do. (2 Peter 1:20-21)

Brokenness

Brokenness exists in every person from infancy. We all hurt others, sometimes without even knowing it. In the Bible this is called sin. (Romans 5:12, 18-19). Satan is the original source of sin and evil, and the only tempter. The result of brokenness for every human being is death. Jesus suffered as punishment for our sins to heal our brokenness. On the cross and in the resurrection, Jesus’ won the victory over sin, death, and the devil. (Colossians 2:13-15)

Eternal Life

God loved the world, and longs to restore his creation. He sent His Son to love the unlovely and save the ungodly. (Ephesians 2:8-10)  Since we are helpless sinners, Jesus gave his life for all people as the perfect substitute on the cross and in his resurrection from the dead. Those who believe this, have what it offers, forgiveness of sins and eternal life. (Romans 1:16-17 )The Holy Spirit works faith in our hearts so that we can be drawn to God and love others as God loved us. (1 Corinthians 12:3)  Faith in Jesus is the only way to heaven. (John 14:6)
